About Us

Get Your Auss In Gear was created out of an idea when I was trying to motivate myself to being more active and using our treadmill. I looked at my aussies and made a joke saying I needed to get my auss in gear, and then lightbulbs went off. I reached out to my big sister Brittni, and we got things rolling. We had so many ideas, we just needed to get them out of our head. Get Your Auss In Gear can be used in so many aspects of your life. We meant it literally for outfitting your dog in bandanas and collars, but also figuratively as in getting yourself motivated to get out and do things that you’ve been wanting to do or even getting in shape. The Get Your Auss Outdoors Collection came from our love and appreciation of hunting and being outside having adventures. This has been a new and exciting journey for us, and we’d love for you to join us on it. And we hope you Get Your Auss In Gear!

My name is Tabitha. My husband Kasey and I just celebrated our 10th wedding Anniversary. We knew each other in high school and reconnected through Facebook while he was stationed in Germany. He is an Army Combat Medic Veteran. We both currently work at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Salt Lake City. Kids ended up not being in the cards for us, and instead we have a herd of fuzzballs running around. Benelli and Kimber are our Aussies; and Yzzy, Lumos and Nox are the cats. Our pups are named after guns, Yzzy is named after the best hockey captain of all time-Steve Yzerman-and if you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll notice the boys are named after some spells. I didn’t use to like football until I started dating my husband. He said they are a football family and I need to pick a team, so I’ve been a Packer fan for just over 10 years. Apparently I picked wrong, because he’s all about the Steelers. I love the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Cubs. I like video games and rewatching my favorite movies and tv shows over and over. And I listen mostly to 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s music. Depeche Mode is my favorite band. I’m stuck in the past. I’ve never been extremely crafty, only knowing how to do a basic crochet knot and making plain scarves or blankets, so this is a new adventure for me and I’m excited for you to see what we have!

My name is Brittni. I’ve been married to my husband Fritz for over 13 years. We have two boys, Cooper who is 13 and Sebastian who is 8. We also have an 8-year-old German Shepherd named Draco, a 6-year-old German Shepherd named Strider, a 4-year-old orange tabby named Ronald (Ron) and a 3-month-old orange tabby named Finnick Fawkes. Yes, I am severely outnumbered as the only female in the house! And if you caught onto our pets’ names, you’ll notice we’re kind of nerdy. I am an office assistant at my sons’ elementary school and in my spare time (haha) I enjoy doing crafts (sewing, painting, scrapbooking), hunting, reading, and binge watching tv shows. I also love music and can't get through the day without listening to it. I struggle with adhd and have for years so I'm constantly reminding myself to get my auss in gear!
